We are looking forward to celebrating the 80th anniversary of VE Day this week, and we would love the children to join in by wearing red, white, and blue on Thursday. Marking VE Day is an important opportunity for our children to learn about the courage and sacrifice of those who served, and to reflect on the power of unity and alliance in bringing peace.

As part of the celebrations, we will be holding a bun sale, with buns available for 50p each. Donations of buns are needed and will be very gratefully received – please bring them in tomorrow morning or on Thursday.

Thank you also for the beautiful flowers sent in last Friday to crown Mary; the display was truly lovely. We will continue this tradition throughout May, so please do send flowers in each Friday.
