Just a few reminders from the last newsletter and the yearly calendar that are taking place over the next couple of weeks.

27th (tomorrow) @ 3pm and 29th February (Thursday) @ 8.30am - Phonics meeting for all Y1 parents. All Y1 parents should be attending one of these meetings. The playground gate will be open for you to enter.
Wednesday 6th & Thursday 7th March - Parent's Evenings - A text will be sent on Wednesday, and this will allow you to book a slot for you to come and talk to your child's teacher about their progress.
Friday 8th March - We are celebrating World Book Day! We would like children to come dressed as their favourite book character. Please do not spend money buying costumes. Use what you have at home. We are attaching a costume ideas sheet.                                                                                    Friday 15th March - St.Patrick's Feast Day celebration in school                                                          Sunday 17th March 10am - St.Patrick's Day Parade - Millenium Square, Leeds 

Letters will come home this week from the Parish inviting our Y4 children to begin preparing for First Holy Communion.
The next newsletter will be out shortly and will detail our plans for the remainder of Lent and preparing for Holy week in school. Please use the Lenten calendar which we sent home with every child before half-term to journey with your child through Lent.
