The Week Ahead14 November 2023 (by Claire Grady (c.grady)) |
Another busy week at St.Patrick's.
Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th Parents' Evenings - All parents should have received a text last week with a link to book an appointment. There are a few slots remaining for each class. Please make sure you have booked one. We ask that all parents arrive on time and children should not attend unless you have no childcare at home.
Wednesday 15th Y3 Y4 Y5 Y6 are all very busy. Y3 and Y6 are both out of school on trips. Please ensure all permission letters have been returned. The Moon Palace bus will be parking up in the playground tomorrow morning before school - this is a mobile observatory - Y4 and Y5 will be visiting it during the day to support their learning in Science. The bus will also be parked up during parents' evening on Wednesday, if any parents would like to have a look inside.
Wednesday 15th - Family Learning Sessions 9-11am in the hall. It's not to late to join up! The class is focussing on developing skills in spoken English and how to help your child in school. Please wait in the playground to be called in.
Friday 17th November - Children in Need - Children can wear their own clothes and you can send in a suggested donation of £1.
The builders are completing snagging on the new toilets and hygiene suite this week. They look fabulous and just what our children here deserve. The next phase begins on Monday on two classroom areas in school. This has been risk assessed and will be managed by Mr Broderick and Mrs Grady during the school day.
Thank you for your continued support.
