Important Dates Coming Up2 December 2022 (by Claire Grady (c.grady)) |
We have a very busy few weeks coming. A few reminders from the newsletter
Monday 5th December 1.30pm - KS2 Christmas Carol concert in church - All welcome to attend
Wednesday 7th December - Catholic Care Christmas Pantry - TICKET ONLY - This proved very popular and we have had to draw names out of a hat as tickets are limited. If you were not successful a pantry/hamper gift will be coming home for your family before the end of term. Tickets are coming home today to those who were drawn out.
Friday 9th December - Christmas Dinner Day - An invite went out to all packed lunch children sometime ago. All children can wear Christmas clothes on this day. Please do not buy anything especially for the day.
Saturday 10th December - Sacrament of Reconciliation - A letter will be going home next week confirming the times to the families involved.
Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th December - Rec/KS1 Nativity - A letter will be coming home next week regarding times and tickets requests.
Thursday 15th December - FOSP Christmas Disco - Rec and KS1 will disco during the school day and KS2 will be straight after school. A letter will be coming home next week.
Wednesday 21st December - 9.30am End of term Mass in church. School closes today for the Christmas break and will reopen Wednesday 4th January.
We received a lot of responses from parents asking for help with Christmas gifts because of the challenging times we live in. I have passed these requests on. It may be possible because of the response to have the gifts delivered to school and we will then distribute. When I get more information I will update you. We are very grateful to the people who are co-ordinating this to ensure our children have a smile on their face on Christmas morning.
Take care and have a good weekend
