The Week Ahead - 17th March - Feast Day Celebrations14 March 2022 (by Claire Grady (c.grady)) |
This Thursday is our feast day. We will be celebrating the day by joining Canon Eugene for Mass at 9.30am. Some children will go over to church and the others will join online. We will then have some live Irish music in school. The day will finish with our own little parade and a special treat for everyone. It is tradition that everyone dresses in green. Therefore it will be non-uniform.
A big thank you to everyone who joined in with the St Patrick's Day Parade yesterday. A great morning was had by all. We proudly walked the streets of Leeds flying the flag for our school.
Catholic Care are asking for a donation for a cross this Lent. The children then colour them in and have a chance to win an Easter egg if their cross is drawn out at the end of term. Please support this fundraising if you can. We will be having our big Easter egg raffle at the end of term and tickets will be on sale from Monday 21st.
Class Photograph - Tempest photographers are coming in this Friday to take class photos. Please ensure everyone is in full uniform looking smart. No PE kits on Friday. PE can be done in uniform on this day.
A letter will be coming home this week about parents evenings on 29th and 31st March. Please return the reply slips as soon as possible.
