Good afternoon,

We have a very busy final few days ahead.Throughout Advent the children have been preparing their hearts to receive Jesus this Christmas. Rec and KS1 are busy recording their Nativity presentation - this will be posted on Google Classroom pages. We will send a text when it has been uploaded. On Thursday KS2 will present carols and prayers in Church 11-12pm. This will be streamed live - the link can be found on the www.stpatrickschurchleeds.org.uk. On Wednesday and Thursday the children will go over to church in their classes for a crib liturgy. We hope you have been able to enjoy your travelling 'bag' crib at home as a family. Please send any photos to the office@stpatrickleeds.org.uk. We will be finishing the week by joining the Parish for Mass on Friday at 9.30am - the majority of children will join online. Please log on to the Church streaming link above to join in. Thank you for supporting the Advent fundraising in each class. I will publish the final amounts that have been raised in my next newsletter.

We also have also planned some fun festivities this week - Rec and KS1 are having their party day on Wednesday and KS2  on Thursday - please support by sending in £1. We will provide a party plate and drink. We will be contacting parents of children with allergies regarding food. We will be then be enjoying class discos and we may even have a special visitor! Children may wear their party/Christmas clothes                                                                                                                                                                                                       

Please note school closes on Friday at 1.15pm for Rec. and KS1 (+siblings) and 1.30pm for KS2. School will reopen as normal on Tuesday 4th January. I will send an update about our return to parents via the mobile app on Monday 3rd January. Please continue to take care and stay safe throughout the holdiays. It is recommended that all pupils undertake a lateral flow test (LFD) on Monday 3rd January. These tests are available at all local chemists.
