8th March Full School Reopening23 February 2021 (by Claire Grady (c.grady)) |
Following the Prime Ministers announcement last night school will re-open for all pupils on Monday 8th March. We are looking forward to seeing all pupils again to build on the work that has been done at home during lockdown. We are putting the final details to our risk assessment but I can tell you that the plans will not be vastly different to our re-opening in September.
Covid 19 has not gone away and we must be vigilant if we are to return and stay open. Households with members that have symptoms must not attend school, they must seek a test and isolate. If children are unwell they should not attend school. We will be maintaining class bubbles as we return and the staggered start and finishes will remain. All adults must continue to wear a mask when on site and social distancing must be maintained when dropping off and picking up.
Enhanced cleaning of the classrooms and touchpoints and hand hygiene will also remain key priorities as we go forward.
Whilst we all want nothing more than a return to normality we must proceed with caution and continue to work together to keep everyone safe. I will be sending a letter out next week will the full details of our return on 8th March. Until then we will continue to work remotely on Google Classroom/Tapestry. Thank you for working so hard to support your child/ren at home. I know this has been challenging but we've all tried our best and that's all we can ask.
Take care everyone
Mrs Grady
