Return to School 4.1.20213 January 2021 (by Claire Grady (c.grady)) |
Happy New Year to all our families - I hope you have all enjoyed a restful and happy Christmas together. School will re-open in the morning for all pupils. Now more than ever we need to work together to protect the school community. If any member of your household has tested positive or has symptoms then your child must not attend school. Please contact school either by email (anytime) or by phone (tomorrow onwards) to let us know.
We know you will be anxious about sending your child back, we too are understandably worried about returning to school with Covid cases rising but we will be sticking to all the systems we have successfully had in place since September. Please ensure you wear a mask on site and stand in the circles around the edge. I now ask that before school all children stand with their parent/adult on the playground from tomorrow morning or with a member of staff at the top of the playground if they are an older sibling. Parents/carers should not be gathered in groups and please arrive promptly for the start and end of the school day.
The situation may change this week and we may be forced to close - I do not have this information currently. Please can you email the office@stpatrickleeds.org.uk if you know that you are a critical worker and will require a childcare place in school on certain days should we close. We will offer this option if there are no adults in your bubble that can safely look after your child while you engage in essential work outside your home.
If we are forced to close learning will continue online for every class - please ensure you know how to log onto Google Classroom - I will resend the letter this week. This is very important that you do this to ensure your child has access to vital learning.
Take care everyone and I look forward to seeing our lovely pupils in the morning
